
Open Position: Senior Technical Trainer
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver premium educational services which help address customer development issues in support of the revenues for SBU's. Facilitate the overall administration of the educational operation including facilities. Give support and subject matter expertise to the courseware development staff which maintains, develops and enhances the Aurora Information Systems, Inc. educational offerings.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Conduct customer educational sessions
- Advise students/customers on system issues involving architectural design, development, administration and other solution products
- Proficiency in the core and overall BEA Systems suite of products
- Maintain presentation skills through observations and seminars
- Avail technical product knowledge for consulting assignments, pre-sales operations or technical writing
- Ensure the visibility of the infrastructure necessary for the delivery of the educational events including presentation equipment, classroom hardware and student manuals
- Aid the courseware development staff by providing customer feedback and new ideas/directions
- Assist with the training of other instructional staff members
Qualifications/Necessary Skills:
- More than 5 years directly related to the industry
- Proficiency in the UNIX and NT operating systems and the C/C++ languages
- Exposure to all aspects of the application development process
- Presentation skills
- Relevant teaching experience
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education or computer science preferred.
Promotion Path:
The successful Sr. Trainer may be promoted to Principal Consultant or SBU Director.
